I went back, read the threads and did download SR2 but i am reluctant to updates since im not sure if i can get it to work.

What other setps do i need to take?
1) Run Matrix SR2 (Matrix60Update_2009-01-06_500.exe)
2) Run Matrix60SR1Student.exe
3) ?

I did download MatrixStudentkeyProgramer (containing; astdll.dll, DLLNT.dll, filechck.dll, MatrixStudentKeyProgrammer.exe, AstSrv.exe) back in the threads. What's my next step?

The script listed above works with student key creator.
Use ckinfo to run the script.

Just set for 365 days and have fun :)

What version are you trying to fix?
You are using student key creator, correct?
I did notice that your code didn't work on my version
of crypkey I have licensed for matrix.
I used ckinfo and changed the hash code to get
good key. Obviously something else isn't correct.

Your going to need a sitekey to gather information.
Find the userkey and masterkey in the program.
Gives you days limited trial?

Your license key value is incorrect, sitecode normal 18 bytes and sitekey
normal 26 bytes

Sorry Dr Pete my mistake The Site Code is 8548 ED24 FEE7 86BE E566 and i dont have a site key. You say to look for Userkey and Masterkey but i thought that this was not crypkey. Can i use CKINFO to generate or where do i start. Can you give me a 2 day licence to look at it or has no one overcome the encryption issue yet?

There is 2 extra digits on my sitecode and even after reading two pages previous i am . Can you help in more detail. Ckinfo will not take this sitecode. The front  site code is an extra java
security key which is converted to
crypkey site code inside program.

I not have time to sort this;we can
bypass this easy and go straight to
crypkey site key and modify.

read the tutorial.

1- activate the trial for vivid 8.2

2- close vivid 8.2

3- Go to the following directories:
XP => C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WorkshopData\0\workshop.exe

Vista=>C:\program data\WorkshopData\0\workshop.exe

and find your hidden crypkey lic key.

4- perform calculations as in tutorial

5- replace new business lic key for 365 days where u find
 trial key and save.Remember to put new key with no
spaces.

What is the difference between matrix6 student version and the other full version of matrix6.

The full pro version has usb dongle protection i think.

I made bit of discovery last night when viewing old
student key creator;i also found what looks to be the
usb dongle public key.

Evidently when u upgrade from matrix 60 to matrix 60 sp.x
if you have a dongle installed you automatically get the new
activation.

Could someone confirm this?

There may be slight chance we can trick this old matrix60 into
upgarding without asking for new lic key.
