Hide My Folders ActiveX is a robust ActiveX Control that lets developers hide any file or folder in Windows system. You don't need to dive into hazy world of low-level file access functions. Once files or folders are hidden they cannot be accessed, searched for, viewed or deleted, therefore no one will know that they exist. Instead of specifying necessary file/folder names you could define pattern-matching mask to hide a group of files that complies with certain criteria such as same extensions or similar names.
Hi,really, this activex component is an usefull one in hiding folders or files,PEID show Armadillo 2.51 - 3.xx DLL Stub -> Silicon Realms Toolworks. i followed Fly's samples to crack it (version 2.5.1.15) but still failed to,my problems are:
1. I set the magic jump to jmp from je and reached OEP in 000169DC,dumped by LordPE,fixdump by IMPREC in IAT RVA= 0001F000 SIZE =00000404,OEP=000169DC and got the dumped_.dll file, revised dumped_.dll in the Reloc (RVA=00036000,SIZE=2B58) in LordPE tool.finally.The file dumped_.dll can be registered in DOS mode (used regsvr32) but can't in VB6.0, even if registered in dos, when draged the icon from the tools box into form in VB6 , a message showed the object not registered, looking for object {XXXXX...}.
2. I did not revise the Magic Jump to JMP, I still can get tie IAT with ImpREC, it seems the IAT was same compared with setting the Magic Jump to jmp. All situation were same with item 1(above).
3. I used Trial-Reset 3.0 to clear all Armadillo keys, then registered the formal activex(HMFax.dll) in VB6.0, A meesage said i can't use the function because license info for the component not found.
I wonder what Armadillo has done in the software?
