yes bit of a worry this, i also use a program that has just started using
v7.1 and it has thrown some new stuff too.
From site key normal get the following info's:
key level=22
key options=2,6,9-12,16
network=no
easy licence=no
add to licence=no
limited lic=30 days
From restriction key get:
restrictions used =26
sitekey timestamp=13 jul 2008/17.40
site key encryption key ids=0x16:0x0B
Entry key cant do which is same with my program which has
started using crypkey v7.1
It must subject site code and site key to some mathematical function
before going thru normal crypkey process.
Only thing i could suggest at this stage is to use "ckinfo/createkey site
using password and above levels to extend original licence and substitute where u got normal key.
how u find *.key ,*.rst ,*ent files ? They are hidden.
first you have to use ckinfo to make a sitecode from info's u have
and then make a site key and swap with site key in hidden file *.key.
I appreciate the help, I just don't know why I can't find the master and site code in the program. Must be somewhere? I am usually real good at this stuff!
Here is the information from the files.
Thank you.
ok well it is definitely crypkey protection.
It is very similar to a problem we had earlier
in this thread.
It also threw up a new site code but yours differs with
non hex values. the program must convert these to there
traditional hex numbers somewhere.
Anyway quickest way for us to get u mobile is find
the user key. From lic key we have key level, options etc
and time limit =15 days.
From restriction key we see no restrictions.
So all we got to do is extend time from 15 days to 365
or 400 etc.
Look in install cd or iso and find folder called Sysfiles; inside
should be folder called crypkey--- upload for me.
Also look in c:windows/system32 for any dll files that have your
program name on them-- as one of these will have master and user
keys in it for crypkey.
There is a folder labeled crypkey in the documents and settings but it's empty?
I do have show system files & hidden files enabled.
How did you get the information from the lic key?
I haven't gotten any of the "tool" to really help me, trying to document what I do so I can follow and not go over stuff I try.
There are 2 .dll files in the system folder with the label of the program.
I've looked into these also with ollydg and don't get any information.
Hi Mozzie,
I appreciate your help. Sure is fun!
I did find the real site code in the file labeled crp32002.ngn
It is 505153C42895476291 edit, no good! I found this same site code in the other program file!
Using ckinfo I finally get some good information from this number.
I am still trying to find the user and master key but having no luck yet.
I am also curious I d/l from our site here the skg program but it will only give me limited of 3 day. I have read in the forum how to fix this but it isn't clear.
Any help regarding this?
Still searching and learning, I appreciate the guidance.
P.S. Thanks for the tip about the ultra string reference plugin, still learning how to use ollydebug also :)
I tried to find the user and master key from another program that was posted here, they said the information was in the .exe file.
Now for the fun part, I CANT find it :(
Its student key creator in another post.
Any OTHER thought on why I can't find this?
hi u doing great man,
the reason people dont help u too much on this forum
is to actually help u learn. You will appreciate this irony
one day.
If the site code u give is correct then u are using crypkey
libraries v 6.1.
If u downloaded SDK v7.1 i not sure it would work.
The other questions u ask about the SDK : the answers
are in these crypkey threads , it will dawn on u one day.
I have made a couple of site keys u could paste into your
*key file --- at your own risk ; u may wish to wait until your
15 day trial is up before trying.
D5A0 0C47 3F93 55EE 5963 DBD7 14
2188 3DB6 4B28 6B8F 0199 A0BD 98
if the first one works dont try the second.
These are based on the site code u gave so if it not correct
then these will be wrong.
Dont forget to keep a copy of *key file so u can put back.
The above site keys wont work as the site code is in fact crypkey company
related. The very same site code i found in another program.
I wasn't clear about the key I found.
I found the same key while looking at another program posted here asking for help.
So....even thou I found a key labeled "site code" it was exactly the same in both files for different programs!
I understand why people don't help ( I have learned to help myself and hopefully ask the right questions for gentle direction) :)
Now for the bad news, the "extra computer" that I was using as a test machine today when I started it the hard drive has crashed.
Interestingly the crypkey program was to expire today also :) ??
No problems thou I just put in another drive and image. Gives me another 14 days in 10 minutes!
A question: I used peid to check the .exe file which says it's not packed.
Is it really packed and thats why I can't find the site & master keys?
Everywhere I read they are in plain text, you would think I could find something simple :(
I really appreciate your time giving me direction for this interesting project!
ok then,
well see how u go ; in few days i have plenty
spare time can explore further for you.
As i said user key is easiest way for to extend
your original key. I also believe to be another way
but have never done before and involves quite a bit
of hex maths.Need a few uninterrupted hours to try
this out.
Well, back up and running with another 15 days :)
Mozzie, if you wouldn't mind take a look at this file posted here:
http://bbs.pediy.com/showthread.php?t=66124&highlight=crypkey
The sitecode was found in the .exe file, now I CAN'T find it!
So, if you would be so kind to point it out in this file it might help me find it in my program.
I use OllyDbg with the ultra script plugin.
Any other tools you might suggest?
not site code; master and user key he found from exe.
i just have quick look with olly and not see.
Have a look with ida pro free version and or winhex.
I be back in day or so with plenty spare time.
We sort your program out.
