Objective: Installation program similar to SoftICE Lite but with built in functionality to rename/hide SoftICE drivers. No need to use ICEExt to hide SoftICE (only int1, but we all know a easy way to bypass it).
History: Last month I brougth a game and wish to run it from PC without CD in the drive. After installing SoftICE, the protection just spam me with security messages...and I start working on this project. I know some of you can do it manually, but it needs some investigation and is a error trial/error job. I used vmware for 4 days using the snapshots method to rollback, something like 300 BSOD later I got it .
SoftICE is a great tool without rival IMO, but in the last years, with constant windows updates turning it useless, and being detected by any lame protection...I quit using it. But I'll try it again to see if it fits my unpacking needs :P
