CopyPath 1.0

What is CopyPath?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CopyPath is a small utility written in C++ (doesn't require any runtimes) which copies whatever is sent to its command line to the clipboard.  If it is run with nothing on the command line then it will provide a handy setup dialog which will let you configure it to appear as an option on the right-click context menus of files and/or folders in Windows Explorer.
Installation
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Put CopyPath.exe somewhere you won't lose it.  Run it.  Check either or both of the association check boxes.  Press OK.  That's it.  Copy Path will now appear on the right-click context menus of the items you have selected.

Uninstallation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Find CopyPath.exe in the location you put it when you installed it.  Run it.  Uncheck both of the association check boxes.  Press OK.  Delete CopyPath.exe.
Unchecking the boxes and pressing OK will clear out all registry settings made by CopyPath; it will not leave clutter behind.
Help!  After installing CopyPath, when I double-click on files
of type [insert favourite file type here] nothing happens!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some programs don't flag their default action (typically "Open") as the default action for their file type.  If a file type has no default actions, then Copy Path becomes the default action, which means when you double click on it, you are actually running copy path on it.

To fix this, open Windows Explorer and click the View menu, then select Folder Options (under Win98.  Some older Win95's have a slightly different menu structure, but you still want to get to the Options menu).  Click on the File Types tab, then scroll down until you find the type you want to fix, and click the Edit button (Advanced button under Windows 2000).  Select the action you want to be default from the list, then press the "Set Default" button.  It should turn bold to indicate this.  You can then press OK until you are back at the Windows Explorer.

The procedure is not harmfull in any way, and does not need to be undone if CopyPath is removed.
