Since there seems to be some interest in keeping Olly hidden/invisible I've created this package. The modification is special thanks to human with my implimentation with a few twists/tools. I've also added the win32api.hlp file which isn't normally included. It does add some size to the file but the benefits outweigh the file size......
The package is "complete" per say where all you need to do is download the package and install it as outlined and it should work right out of the box....... The complete means that Olly is fully functional with plugins already installed. Remember adding any new plugin will NOT be able to just drop in the plugin folder, doing so will crash the plugin and cause a warning and will disable the offending added plugin. Fear not, there is a tool I'm including to fix that as part of this thread......
Okay, you have 2 options and a "bonus".
OPTION 1:
Download and install the package and use until your comfortable with it. To make this happen download file: 0_1_1_YDbg.rar
OPTION 2: Download a new copy of Ollydbg 1.10 from his site (Greetz to Olly) and download the conversion tool: snd-invisibleollydbgandknownpluginsv1.0.universalpatch.zip
Follow the instructions to the letter and you'll end up with what option 1 provides in the package......there are no plugins provided with option 2, so you'll have to add your own once this process is complete. If you have existing plugins, the conversion tool will converter them to the new format to be able to work with the modified olly.
Which ever method is used, to start the debugger, just start SND.exe and your good to go. KEEP IN MIND THAT ANY NEW PLUGIN THAT IS ADDED MUST GO THROUGH THE CONVERSION TOOL OR ELSE IT WILL CRASH THE PLUGIN!!
OPTIONS ALL:
Also attached is the patcher conversion tool that will modify the needed variables for the invisible Olly properly communicate with Olly. It will only modify plugins that are in its database. These are listed below. I will consistantly update the patcher for requested plugins that are requested as needed. For any plugin to be added to the database it must UNPACKED or I won't waste a second of my time adding it to the database.......sorry.
Please report any bugs or requests here so that the record will be current and all can see the evolution as it goes.
Bonus:
If you want to have a unique modifier signature for your new Olly (even further reduces the chances of authors from detection), I can create a custom patcher exclusively for you. The criteria is that you must have an SnD Full member vouche for you on your behalf. If you get approval, I will (time permitting) create a customer patcher in which you'll specifically have to use option 2 above.
