Visual Assist X increases automation, simplifies navigation and displays vital information as you develop. The features are so well integrated into the IDE that it is difficult to distinguish what. Build 1522 is first public beta with support for refactoring. The build also includes a new feature to find and highlight all references to a symbol, and numerous bug fixes.
IDEs are reset when you install a 15xx build for the first time! Backup your IDE settings or be prepared to redo your custom changes. (We think the 15xx builds are well worth the hassle.)
There is no need to overwrite Autotext when installing a 15xx build. (Build 15xx will automatically append a few Autotext entries to your existing files.)
