Job Description:
FileMaker Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Inc., is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Manager.
This position is based in Beijing, China and
reports directly into the China VP and indirectly to the SC (Santa Clara) based SQA Director.

Oversee technical testing teams responsible for FileMaker products worldwide, b
y reviewing
technical documentation,
functional specifications and
test plans,
and
assist SC Management in the dissemination, coordination and execution of testing assignments,
track to schedule and meet the teams objectives.
Champion product quality and technical excellence and
r
eport progress to the SC based SQA Managers.
Foster technical and career development among team members and enable and facilitate productive relationships with other cross-functional teams.
Education / Experience:
Must be an experienced shrink wrap software QA leader, showing extensive knowledge of QA processes in a senior role, with a history of successful delivery of high-quality products for international markets like U.S., Japan and European countries. The candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have the ability to accurately understand and report progress and status, with exceptional English / Chinese communication and management skills.
Experience with performance and benchmarking, knowledge of automation on both Mac and Windows, like SilkTest or other scripting environments, and knowledge of ODBC/JDBC are a plus.
Requirements: BS or BA degree and 3-5 years SQA, 3 years of management experience.
Other success factors:Previous experience with localization testing coordination would also be a plus.
