¦¦ Some of you may wonder why we nuked our latest WinRAR releases ¦¦
¦¦ as "grp.req". ¦¦
¦¦ Those releases contained, unlike the previous releases we did of ¦¦
¦¦ the same application (where the public key was swapped, hence the ¦¦
¦¦ WinRAR binary was modified) a real keyfilemaker. That keyfilemaker ¦¦
¦¦ though, contains a private key calculated by SeVeN, a member of the ¦¦
¦¦ web-based team FFF. It was never meant to be released in the ¦¦
¦¦ public, and it was only made for internal team usage. ¦¦
¦¦ ¦¦
¦¦ However, one of our packagers ignored that fact, and accidentally ¦¦
¦¦ released the keyfilemaker at the time no cracker was around to ¦¦
¦¦ inform him of the fact. As soon as we realized what happened, we ¦¦
¦¦ had the releases nuked. We would have never released that ¦¦
¦¦ keyfilemaker, as it is based on SeVeN`s work. We, at CoRE, do not ¦¦
¦¦ take a journey just to get to the destination; we do it because we ¦¦
¦¦ enjoy the ride. ¦¦
¦¦ ¦¦
¦¦ We apologize to SeVeN and FFF for the trouble and confusion we ¦¦
¦¦ caused, and we congratulate them on the work they did on several ¦¦
¦¦ targets that are considered hard. ¦¦
